Principal's Message
Principal's Message
Welcome to louisville elementary school!
I am delighted to introduce myself as the new principal of Louisville Elementary School. It is a privilege to join such a dynamic and dedicated community, and I am eager to begin this journey with all of you.
I bring nineteen years of educational experience within the Boulder Valley School District. Since joining BVSD in 2005, I have had the honor of serving in various roles, including classroom teacher at Aspen Creek PK-8 and Ryan Elementary, instructional coach/mentor, model classroom teacher, and a member of the District Literacy Team.
Most recently, I served as an Assistant Principal, spending four years at Kohl Elementary School, during which I also split my time between Kohl and Louisville Elementary School for a year. I hold a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Regis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
As a heart-centered leader, I am deeply committed to creating authentic connections and inspiring every Louisville Elementary School community member to see and reach their full potential. I firmly believe in the power of teams and collective efficacy. At Kohl, our focus was on culture, creating a positive environment for students, staff, and families. We prioritized what matters most – students! This was achieved through efficient systems, open and honest communication, and a data-driven environment that values student experiences.
As your principal, I want you to know that I am dedicated to providing clarity, timely communication, clear expectations, consistency, and frequent opportunities to celebrate. I believe in leading from the middle and working as a team to create a supportive and high-achieving school community. My heart and passion are always visible, and I am committed to building on the strong foundation and history of excellence at Louisville Elementary School.
I look forward to meeting each of you, learning from you, and working together to make Louisville Elementary School a place where every student thrives.
Thank you for your warm welcome and ongoing commitment to our students' success.
In partnership,
Taren Villecco
